Happy Independence Day
Happy Independence Day. In this video, come take a walk in the garden with me. Let's talk for a while. Do we live from our essence — or from the content of our minds? From desires, feelings, and the endless needs and wants of the body? And what is essence? Is it something ancient within us… or is it also something reaching toward us from the future? Who made all this? This strange world of form, memory, hunger, beauty, suffering, and wonder. And what is my role in it? What is yours? Perhaps if we look deeply enough into the past, we may begin to see the shape of our future — if we are willing to take responsibility for what we find. Maybe the future is not something waiting for us, but something already seeded within us, asking to be remembered. So come. Walk with me through the garden, and let's see where we end up.
After this video, I thoroughly recommend this excellent lecture, which explores many of these same themes in greater depth: The Path of Balance.
And if this resonates with you, you can also explore our latest book, Catalyst, here: Catalyst.
Very interesting recent exploration of the Book of Enoch and its themes here: Watch on YouTube — and followed by —
"The word of the blessing of Enoch, how he blessed the elect and the righteous, who were to exist in the time of trouble; rejecting all the wicked and ungodly. Enoch, a righteous man, who was with God, answered and spoke, while his eyes were open, and while he saw a holy vision in the heavens. This the angels showed me." — Book of Enoch, Chapter 1
"They shall condemn the stars of heaven, shall lift up their hands against the Most High, shall tread upon and inhabit the earth, exhibiting all their acts of iniquity, even their works of iniquity. Their strength shall be in their riches, and their faith in the gods whom they have formed with their own hands. They shall deny the name of the Lord of Spirits, and shall expel Him from the temples in which they assemble." — Book of Enoch, Chapter 46:5
"I now began to utter the third parable, concerning the saints and the elect. Blessed are you, O saints and elect, for glorious is your lot. The saints shall exist in the light of the sun, and the elect in the light of everlasting life… Peace be to the saints with the Lord of the world." — Book of Enoch, Chapter 56:1–4
"In those days my eyes beheld the secrets of the lightnings and the splendours… The sound of thunder is for peace and for blessing, as well as for a curse… For blessing and for fertility they lighten." — Book of Enoch, Chapter 57:1–5
Some may find it interesting to consider that the Book of Enoch may be traced, in certain interpretive traditions, back to accounts of "watchers" and their activity upon the earth as the Anunnaki — narratives which speak of beings bound or restricted within the domain of this world. Within these symbolic readings, the "watchers" are sometimes understood not as a single unified force, but as multiple strata of intelligence or influence interacting with the human field in different ways.
Yet it is also worth noticing that history, as it is usually preserved, tends to emphasize only one polarity of such accounts — often focusing on the disruptive or destabilizing influences. Within more esoteric or symbolic readings, however, there is also the suggestion that not all "watchers" are of the same nature. Alongside the narratives of descent and distortion, there are also threads that speak of balancing intelligences — observers aligned with a kind of higher order or council — whose presence functions not as control, but as equilibrium.
From this perspective, the earth has not been left without guidance. Some traditions suggest that without subtle forms of intervention, alignment, and correction, the trajectory of collective human choice might have long since collapsed into irreversible imbalance. Instead, what is maintained is a kind of living tension — where influence is present, but not domination; guidance exists, but does not remove freedom.
In this sense, both challenge and support may be understood as part of the same field of development. Even difficulty becomes a kind of catalyst, and even opposition may serve a larger balancing process in which consciousness is refined through its own choices.
